I love your BBQ, however I was not able to eat any today(5/7/12). I was trying to purchase a slab of ribs and the cashier was very rude. I ask the cashier if I could have the slab the was under the first one instead of the two small pieces that were on top. She stated that to two small pieces were equal to a slab. I ask her again could I have another piece and she stated I could get my money back and the second cashier handed my receipt. i felt really bad. I was wondering do you have another resturant in town besides the one on I-55 because I do not want to stop eating Sweet Daddy's BBQ.

Thanks,

My BBQ preferences are Sweet Daddy's (or as my kids call them "gas station ribs"), and E & L (on Bailey Ave). I generally give the nod to SD's because of the better meat quality and the fact that I don't fear imminent gunfire as opposed to the locale surrounding E&L. But E & L's sauce is off the chain.

There's not much dim sum in Jackson. The only place that actually offers a dim sum menu is the new Ding How on Old Canton and they just started offering it last month.

I've posted here because well..it's your most recent post. I'm impressed that someone is actually blogging about restaurants that are not de rigeur for MS. Being from out of state myself I am *always* seeking out great places to eat that aren't BBQ. If you find any restaurants that offer authentic Italian/Sicilian and Dim Sum - mind reviewing them? And also, do you have a twitter I could follow?

THanks

Hey,

Where actually is the location of Sweet Daddy's? Landmarks of where it is near? When I click on your link it goes to Mississippi. When I change it over to Durham it puts it over near the 54/55 Intersection. Please help. Me hungry! Nice review by the way......
