Tom's pies are back. In October, 2011, they re-opened in a strip center at 827 Hwy 49 South, Richland, MS. Phone 769-257-7351.
They're as good as ever.

I live on Mcdowell road which is littered with bland, run of the mill food establishments. They offer entrees that are probably as equally unhealthy but not as delicious. Stepping into Tom's Fried Pies is deep fried culinary nirvana. I don't know what I like better - their pies or the staff preparing the pies. Both are equally warm and tasty. My goal has been to eat everything they offer on the menu. I've so far had the blackberry pie. It tasted better than my husband's kisses. I'm planning on taking my family here when they visit from Illinois soon I'm hoping they will become addicted so they don't move back. Thanks Tom, you're one of a kind.

Went by today for the first time and had the Mexican and a coconut for dessert- I thought that both of them were wonderful! The meat pie actually did have a lot of meat in it, so maybe Tom read your review and did something about it. The coconut was very sweet, but I ate every crumb...

As with many food items the rating is very subjective but I don't have a problem with your assessment of TFP. I would suggest that you go back and try the spinich and mushroom and sugar-free apple. They are my favorites!
