Tomorrow (Thursday) the makers of Cathead Vodka (Mississippi’s first legal distilled spirit, apparently) will be introducing their new product at Congress Street Bar & Grill downtown (120 N. Congress St).  The vodka introduction (including samples) will be from 6-7.  Starting at 7, live blues from Joe Carroll.  Nathan Glenn (of Rooster’s and the Fondren Basil’s) will cook dinner specials.  Sounds like a fun food/drink/music combo to me!

I plan to get a post up about Congress Street eventually—I’ve really liked what I’ve eaten there so far (especially the crab cakes and the red beans & rice).  Check it out if you haven’t yet!
